Online therapy

What is online therapy?

Online therapy in my practice will mainly be therapy via video Skype or Facetime and 24/7, which is the written way. In online therapy, I use exactly the same therapeutic method as if you sat in the clinic. My experience is that video therapy works just as well as therapy in the clinic. In a few cases even better because it creates a very dense and undisturbed space.

Advantages of Video therapy - Skype

• You are more comfortable and open while they are at home
• Avoids worrying about others seeing them enter or leave a therapy office
• Good opportunity for disabled people
• People in addiction who want to receive treatment without their partner knowing
• The commute may be inconvenient or impossible

For 24/7 – the written form, email

• Text or message-based therapy allows clients more time to structure their thoughts
• Need for therapy via the Internet, especially at the beginning, to provide greater anonymity
• More time to react and form better answers

Easy and practical

You can easily be anywhere in the world - as long as you have a reasonable internet connection and a computer with a webcam, a phone or iPad/tablet. I usually use Skype, but there are also clients who prefer Facetime or other tools.
If you get an urgent appointment, you can pay with Mobilpay, Visa card or PayPal, and we can start the session immediately. If you get an appointment with slightly longer notice, you can also make a bank transfer.

• You can read more about how I work under the menu item "how I work".
• You can read more about how other clients experience the therapy here. Smart or stupid to link to Gomentor where I have customer testimonials? Otherwise I use them from the old website.
• Online therapy with an appointment is between 6-9pm, Danish time.

Security

Skype and other video conferences are encrypted from computer to computer. This means that your employer, those you live with or your internet provider cannot intercept our conversation.
